Gulam Zade serves as General Counsel at LOGICFORCE. Mr. Zade’s responsibilities include managing all legal and regulatory matters and providing legal, strategic, regulatory, and business counsel to the executive team. He also provides strategic business and legal advice to the business development, marketing, human resources, network support, litigation support, and security business units.
Prior to joining LOGICFORCE, Mr. Zade was in private practice in Nashville. Gulam has advised clients on myriad of restructuring, corporate insolvency, and bankruptcy related issues. He has represented bankruptcy trustees and receivers in both state and federal courts. His experience also includes representation of corporate entities and individuals in out of court workouts.
While in private practice, Mr. Zade was engaged in a matter involving an escrow and title company. The company had been having operating issues for several years. Multiple auditors, state and federal agents had been sent in to find the root cause of the issues to no avail. Using his business acumen, understanding of accounting and banking knowledge, within 3 months Mr. Zade was able to find the root cause of the problems.
He would later show the underwriting insurance company exactly how $2.5 million in escrow funds walked out the front door. His work led to multiple home buyers having their home loans reimbursed based on the evidence of fraud that he found. The principal of the title company was indicted in federal court based on Mr. Zade’s work and after being found guilty sentenced to multiple years in prison.
He is an active member of the Nashville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations as well as the Association of Corporate Counsel. He is the current chair of the Nashville Bar Association's bankruptcy court committee. He serves on the board of directors of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute, which conducts an advanced two-day CLE seminar on commercial and bankruptcy law.
He is also on the steering committee and alumni chair of the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Leadership Forum. He is an appointed board member of the Metropolitan Council Board of Ethical Conduct and was named as one of Nashville’s top 30 Under 30 young professionals.
Mr. Zade received his BA from Western Kentucky University and his JD from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
